Sov industrial nicely in Williamsburg

Accommodation: Hotel Wythe.

Lately, Brooklynborna vallfärdat to a former factory in Williamsburgs industrial area, where Whyte Hotel turned up the doors. As "the burg" has become a name to be reckoned with on the international map, open a growing number of hotels in the area, and the tastefully decorated this brick building is the last in the line. Design wise, the industrial heritage has been given to be in both the rooms and the restaurant. Reynards serves (of course) the meat from local farms, managed by the hotel's own butcher. Art at The Hole

Worth Seeing: The Hole.

Sometimes it's fun to swap bastions MoMa and the Guggenheim to less konstmeckan. The Hole is a young Gallery, outside the traditional gallery spaces, where art, celebrities, designers, musicians, meet wealthy collectors as soon as it is opening. The exhibitions are changed frequently and popup events are not unusual, so keep an eye out on the website before your trip. Since a short time back, there is also a shop with books, posters, and other merch linked to space.
