Summer – which raises the girls out and see the world. But more and more guys are choosing to stay at home. 74 percent of young girls in the Group of 16-24 year old, was last year set off for at least a week in Sweden or abroad, according to a survey by the Central Statistical Office. For the guys were the same number, 61 percent, and the gap between the girls and boys has increased in the past year.

– For us girls, it is importent with new experiences. Guys are probably not the same need to see new things, "says Malin, 23, that was of to the Rhodos in early August along with mother, sister and daughter Nova-Lee, four this year.

Matilda, 23, loves to travel:

I have just returned from Cyprus, and soon it is time for Crete. We girls are more stressed and need to get away more often than boys.

Reseanalytikern Pete has also noted the difference between girls and boys traveling habits.

– Young women travel to experience and discover. Boys often need a reason, such as the European Football Championship in Ukraine.

He also believe that young women's friend relations play a major role.

– Girls are together in the companion thread longer and go well together, and the boys travel more alone.
