Finn din egen plats i den sydfranska solen. Find your own place in the Sun of southern France.  Photo: PHILIPPE HAHN

(D) it is about the light. Rays hits the white cliffs which okuvade rises out of the sea, and a billion sparkling reflections mirrors itself in the slow guppande the sea. The Sun is bright, light and magic – and above all unlimited. Côte d'Azur is blessed with over 300 days of sunshine a year.

The legendary Côte d'Azur, the Southern French coastline that we call the French Riviera, is boundless. No one seems to really know where it begins and where it ends. Or rather, nobody seems to really like to take a position on the dividing line. Everyone wants to be part of it. A guess is that French Riviera stretching from Menton to the East and Sainte-Maxime in the West. But who is really so nogräknad, when the rays of the Sun yet is enough and will be over for all?

For many, the Côte d'Azur has become synonymous with holidays. Deluxe kind. The season has its beginning in may, when many international actors visiting the Cannes film festival. Next is glamourcirkusen, and here there is no question of any discrete decadence: giant luxury yachts with its own helipad, mångmiljons cars of grälla colors, uppumpade breasts in previously unknown kupstorlekar and melchizedekflaskor with champagne are commonplace wherever you look.

Best of all is that everyone gets a free ride a bit of luxury. It infects by itself, So it is in all cases when on a pavement, sits next door to Jack Nicholson or Beyoncé and sippar at välkylt a glass of rosé wines.

This guide is an attempt to show on the Côte d'Azur from the inside. Choose Riviera, it is not possible to avoid the masses. But once in place should be chosen with care to get as close to that of the definends sense of light, space and time as possible.
