As fine as the Central Park

Autumn stroll in Central Park? Yes, Certainly. But when you get tired of the turisthorderna, take the Metro out in Brooklyn at Prospect Park and the adjoining botanical gardens.

When landscape architects Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux was clear in Central Park took the new tag and designed Prospect Park which was completed in 1867. The latter is somewhat smaller than its predecessors but no less beautiful. It is also the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, which is open all year round.

There are both local plants, a Japanese garden and a herb garden. $ 10 entry cost for an adult and you can find it at 150 Eastern Parkway, 455 Flatbush Avenue.
