Depending on the sense of humour one has, it can be rather funny to witness: a first-time visitor to Sweden force-squeezes his battery charger in a Swedish outlet, and receives the shock of a lifetime. Literally. He was just a little jumpy afterwards and had a new, really "electrifying" hairdo.Of course, that visitor should have at least asked about the power outlet issue - instead of trying to force a Canadian power plug into a European power outlet in the middle of Stockholm, Sweden. Plugs and outlets are quite different in Sweden, and a whopping 220 volts come out of them. So believe me when I say that you really don't want to do what that visitor did. Inform yourself, and find out what kind of adapter or converter you need:
