Morocco around by rental car

More and more desires are added to the list. Given points is a walk in the Atlasberge and a night under the stars in the desert. To act on a colourful market in Marrakech or sunbathing and swimming in Essaouira, which is classified as world heritage by Unesco, also have indeed emphasised with.

At home in Falun loading family Winlöf – Kjell and Victoria, with children, Gabriel, 13, Brittany, 9, and Tyra, 4 – for this summer's Morocco trip, the one in the family is known as the "thousand-and-one-night adventure".

"We like to do adventurous travel on their own. To travel around Morocco by car feels like a moderately large projects for a three-child family. Relatively short flight, no clock-shifts, and easy to get family members, different needs met, "says Victoria.

In August, let's go. Of course later on summer vacation, the better because of the heat, but they must travel early enough to get back to the start of school. That summer the journey goes to Morocco is no coincidence. Both Victoria and Kjell have traveled extensively in the Middle East – but not in Morocco. A new land to discover.

– I'm childishly fond of the arab world, but believed that Morocco was just Sun and beach in Agadir, a variation on the Canary Islands. Now I read on, and I think that both the Atlas mountains and the coast are experiences beyond the ordinary, "said Kjell.

Research is done on reading the plates. Family viewing maps, look at satellite images, visit the virtual markets and surfing in on the Travel Channel. On weekends, rent the adventure movies that were recorded in the large Moroccan film studio Atlas Studios, which they plan to visit.

– On the trip, it is fun to be able to say to the kids, "now we're in the environment as ' the Mummy ' was filmed," said Kjell.

The family must be characterized "takes an experienced traveller". Before the kids came alive Kjell and Victoria for their travels, and they have tried to travel as much as they can and can afford as well as family. But it's not just the long backpackerresor. The family has traveled on chartered flights and stayed at all inclusivehotell, storstadssemestrat in Europe and kuskat around by car in Sweden.

– Sometimes you want to rest, sometimes you want to have adventures. And what suits one person, does not fit another, I have no opinions about different ways to travel, "said Kjell.

He works in the travel industry, on Pink Buses, and have run several passes to Cape Town, as well as back and forth to Nepal and the whole of South America around. To sit behind the wheel of another country is thus fully natural for him, and of course an explanation for why he did not hesitate to see Morocco from your own car.

– To be a part of the traffic image in a foreign country is fun. Experiences will be strong when you're sitting at the wheel. A driver often remember much from the tours, "he said.

– The fun with your own car is that it is going beyond the beaten track. We can visit places where not as many other tourists, said Viktoria.

Car seat for a child is obvious – not only from the security aspect, but also because it means that she is sitting still.

– Anything that makes it easier is a good thing. We take with MP3 player and Nintendo for the flight, and wagon Tyra can sleep in when we visit restaurants in the evenings, "said Viktoria.

Gabriel, 13, looks particularly forward to bathe and sunbathe.

– And I hope that we're going to ride camels in the desert. I think it will be a good trip, but ideally I would like to go to England and watch football. And so I want to go back to Brazil.

The parents seem to be on track to reach the goal "to infect the children with resbacillen".

– I'd like to think that you become a better person by that trip. To become educated public, broaden their world view, gets another look of poverty … If we can give children a craving for travel, that they understand that it is difficult to travel on your own or to travel there not all other travel, then I think we've done something good, "said Kjell.
