Do you have any hours over and ants in the legs? Rent a bike for around 40 dollars, obtain a gratiskarta of Manhattan's bike paths and jump back in the saddle. It is approximately 55 kilometres around Manhattan and you will certainly be able to see things beyond the guidebooks recommendations.
It is possible in principle to bike around the Neighborhood on bicycle paths along the water. It becomes a little tricky on the East side of Harlem, where you have to get into the traffic between 125th and 160th Street. Otherwise it is bilfritt. When fatigue creeps closer to a beverage stop at Pier i Café next to the Hudson River, 500 W 70th Street. Mat you will find the best and cheapest up in Harlem. And in Inwood Hill Park around 207 4th Street, you are definitely an exclusive tourist.
